Questions
  1. Does TheSubdivision.Com offer email with websites?
    • TheSubdivision.Com is pleased to offer one of the most robust email products on the market. Your email address will be convenient for residents to remember such as [yoursubdivisionname@thesubdivision.com]. A single email address is included in the middle service tier and up to five email accounts are included in the upper service tier. Unlimited additional email accounts may be purchased for all three service tiers for a small fee.

  2. How much does a subdivision website cost?
    • Likely less than you think. There are 3 different plans to choose from. Prices range from $19 to $59 per month. The $59 per month website package allows you the opportunity to sell advertisements on your website. With this option, your website may actually earn money for your homeowners association. Visit the Features & Pricing page for more details.

  3. What are the benefits of a community website?
    • We believe there are many benefits of a subdivision website. The Subdivision.Com websites provide residents in your community with convenient access to important information like the contact information for the trustees, resident names and addresses, phone numbers to the homebuilder. If you are in a new subdivision, residents might benefit from the posting of the new home warranty provided by the builder or phone numbers for the repair hotline. A classified ads section provides residents with low-cost convenient way to post goods for sale without having to pay for expensive ads in local papers. There is a services feature for residents who want to advertise their trade which could range from legal, handyman, or child care. The website news feature provides a forum for posting important stories about what is going on in the community. There is an events calendar where residents can see what is coming up in the community. Web polls allow trustees to gather information quickly about issues impacting their community. Residents can conveniently access subdivision indentures and other useful forms. The homeowners association members benefit the greatest by haveing a repository for information which they can direct residents to upon inquiry. Perhaps the trustees were distributing news and updates in a quarterly newsletter. A subdivision website means that you can cut out the expense and effort associated with this tedious task. Also, all historical news and information is always available too! Email is available with the middle and top tier plans so trustees can communicate electronically with their residents. There are numerous other benefits of a community website. Visit the Features & Pricing page to see more ways in which a subdivision website will benefit the community.

  4. Who manages the website?
    • TheSubdivison.Com websites can be managed by anyone in the community. No computer programming knowledge is required. 9. Can anyone sign up for a subdivision website?
    • Yes, but we strongly urge that subdivision websites be endorsed by the trustees of the subdivision to ensure the website will remain updated and successful for the subdivision.

  10. How long will it take for you to develop a subdivision website once we decide we are interested?
    • Under most circumstances we can have your new subdivision website up, running, and ready for you to begin editing within a couple of hours.

  11. Who is responsible for all of the content, copy, news, and information on the website?
    • Ultimately, TheSubdivision.Com is not responsible for updating your subdivision website. In all instances we ask that the trustees play an active role in the subdivision website; however, we have some subdivisions in which the trustees do not perform the updates. Instead the trustees have nominated a neighbor to keep the website current with news and information fed by the trustees. Either way, subdivision websites by TheSubdivison.Com are easy to update and can be updated instantly without any knowledge of programming through the use of RazorTools. As one other option, once you have established your subdivision website, you can always offer logins to the content management suite, RazorTools, to each of the trustees. With this approach it is no one persons responsibility to update the website, but instead everyone is responsible.
